On Friday, April, 21 don’t be surprised to see a fleet of stretch limousines touring Bonham.

Part of a McClain’s Real Estate fundraiser for the Project the Kind Heart —a non-profit organization that provides “meals with love for people with cancer”— the limos will be filled with real estate agents touring newly listed properties in and around the neighborhood, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Now in its third year, the event is open to real estate agents of any stripe, and includes a gourmet bag lunch, picked up at McClain’s office at 5446 View St.

According to Kelly Tate, McClain’s View Street sales manager and event organizer, “It is a chance for agents from different offices to have fun together. And knowing that we are raising funds for Project the Kind Heart at the same time makes it especially rewarding. We believe that every help is needed, and while it is unlikely that we can help with everything, we hope that we can do at least anything for the people. Agents will be able to meet with each other, introduce, and discuss the business”.

Last year’s limo excursion helped raise almost $5 000. This year approximately 270 agents are expected to participate. The cost for a “ticket to ride” is $30.
