GameStop Preparing To Restock Nintendo Switch

Win a new Nintendo Switch and a Nintendo NES Classic in two exclusive I4U News Giveaways. On the contrary, 101 million units of the original Wii were sold, with 20 million units sold in its first year alone. The total number of fix or replacement requests for Nintendo Switch, including for Joy-Con, is consistent with what we've seen for any new hardware Nintendo has launched.

Nintendo Switch owners were giddy with delight earlier this week at a rogue tweet sent out by the official South Park Twitter account.

To tackle the strong demand of Switch consoles, Nintendo has made a decision to increase its production to 16 million units up from the original plan of 8 million.

Nintendo Switch, Nintendo NES Classic Edition is in huge demand since the launch.

Nintendo released its new Switch console on March 3. That number has now been updated to 16 million during the fiscal year following April 2017.

"We want our consumers to get up and running quickly to have fun with Nintendo Switch", the statement read. Last week, 8 new titles have been added, which aligns to Nintendo's promise to steadily strengthen the Switch games lineup over the course of 12 months.

For those gamers out there who want to get the Switch but will likely be unable to get one in time once they are back inside GameStop stores, they will be glad to know that more units are reportedly set to be produced over the next year. So if you don't make it to Gamestop's cutoff, what's a few more days? According to the WSJ, the company could now sell as many as 2.5 million units through the end of March.

What Is Causing The Left Joy-Con Connection Issue?

The US retailers have warned the fans to check out the local stores first for availability and according to them, fans will be able to pick up one unit each next week.

"GameStop continues to see strong demand from customers who are looking to purchase the Nintendo Switch system", said Eric Bright, GameStop's senior director of merchandising.
