William and Kate shrug off Paris terror with 'offensive de charme'

The duke and duchess took part in St. Patrick's Day festivities on Friday before embarking on a two-day trip Paris, a diplomatic gesture as the country prepares for Brexit negotiations.

Kate Middleton has made Paris even chicer by gracing the City of Lights in a stunning black gown.

The Duke, 34, and Duchess of Cambridge, 35, were in Paris for a two-day trip to highlight strong Franco-British ties after the referendum on June 23 a year ago.

William and Kate hailed the courage of those they spoke to at the French capital's historic military hospital, Les Invalides.

Kids United, a youth musical group whose campaigns are set up to support UNICEF, had a familiar choice in song when performing in front of the Duke and Duchess, choosing Pharell's hit song "Happy".

After a detour by the Trocadéro and the Musée d'Orsay, Kate and William finished their Parisian weekend at the Stade de France to watch the France-Wales match.

The trip will be seen as a way for the prince to rebuild his reputation after he was criticised for ducking out of a Commonwealth Day service to go to Swiss ski resort Verbier.

"So I think she definitely influenced and it was positive and has been for all these 20 years", Abboud said.

Prince William: How hard has he worked in 2017 so far?

"We think you are very strong and very courageous, you've made unbelievable progress", William said (via the Daily Express). Kate wore a traditional ensemble - a dark green coat by Catherine Walker, the French-born designer based in London.

The royal family has found itself in yet another mess involving partying princes and mystery women.

Prince William is to begin full-time royal duties this summer when he finishes his job with the East Anglian Air Ambulance, which is likely to prompt scrutiny of how much he increases his royal duties and public appearances.
