Andromeda Day One Patch Won't Improve Animations

This has lead to some concern, as well many gif files showing running, walking, smiling, and speaking animations have been rather rough.

Mass Effect: Andromeda's release date won't arrive until next week, but did you know you can start playing right now if you're on Xbox One? Per Twitter, the game's Lead Designer Ian Frazier conceded that the day one patch is already in the can, and that any fixes will have to be implemented via a future update. No, that ship has sailed. We won't even go into the joker smiles that seem to be a recurring theme in Mass Effect games. Frazier responded, "At day 1?"

Set some 600 years after the Shepherd saga, Mass Effect: Andromeda touches down for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 21st. However, it doesn't rule out future patches that may improve character animations.

Those lucky enough to secure an advance copy of Mass Effect Andromeda have all had the same thought cross their mind: "What the fuck is wrong with their faces?!" It will arrive in Europe on March 23, 2017. However, there will certainly be many fans wondering why these and other matters weren't rectified before allowing the public to play the title, especially since EA previously said it would delay the game until it was completely ready.
