West Ham United vs Leicester City Live Streaming, Live Scores, Team News

IT'S VARDY! The England striker gets away from his marker in the six-yard area to tap in from Mahrez's corner!

West Ham United have officially confirmed their team that will play host to reigning champions Leicester City in a Premier League fixture this afternoon at the London Stadium. They are battling for points and with us sitting in mid-table, perhaps the hunger was not there in the same way it was for them.

Meanwhile, Leicester boss, Craig Shakespeare, said: "there's no secret".

Bilic has been dealt a blow ahead of the fixture as captain Mark Noble has been ruled out with a dead leg.

But it did rock West Ham and the visitors capitalised ruthlessly.

During a couple of moments, they have Kasper Schmeichel who is in great form anyway.

However, Vardy restored Leicester's two-goal lead before half-time when he pounced on the loose ball after West Ham failed to clear Albrighton's corner.

It is not the first time the Croatian is going through this procedure, he had his other hip replaced five years ago showing that his playing career is really taking its toll on his body, as he now needs his other one doing, according to the Sun.

"You can talk about great character, great combinations and we had more than enough chances to turn the game around, not only to equalise, but at the end, there are no excuses for the start of the game".

Robert Huth's goal was Leicester's 500th in the Premier League, making them the 18th team to clock up half a century.

West Ham by contrast have had a full week to prepare for the match, but they head into the contest following back-to-back league defeats to Chelsea and Bournemouth.

"We said once the Champions League draw was made let's concentrate on the Premier League".

Instead, it was Leicester that scored the game's fourth goal in the 38th minute when Vardy took advantage of some poor defending from West Ham before slotting the ball past the isolated Randolph, which brought more groans from the home supporters.

"We knew that they had a momentum and of course they are a good side who were underachieving this season".

Leicester will head into the contest having won their last three matches since Shakespeare succeeded Claudio Ranieri as manager, including victories against Hull and Liverpool in the league.
