Adam Levine offers to pay for Christina Grimmie funeral

More than 500 people held candles and sobbed as they remembered Christina Grimmie's talent and her spirit Monday night in Evesham Township at the town's Memorial Complex, where photos of her graced the field, reports CBS Philadelphia.

The concert ended at about 10pm, and Grimmie was shot as she signed autographs for fans at a merchandise table.

The man who shot Voice singer Christina Grimmie dead reportedly had a history of violence. News, Marcus spoke with the crowd and became emotional when talking about his "baby sister" and the mass shooting in an Orlando gay club, which happened just a day after Grimmie was shot down by a gunman. Marcus was the one who tackled the attacker of her sister to the ground last Saturday.

Grimmie was friend with Bieber's ex Selena Gomez as the two toured together years ago.

It comes after the 27-year-old's family left a note on their front door expressing their "sorrow" over their son's actions.

Levine's rep confirmed the offer with E!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, hearing about the tragedy, Adam Levine reached out to the Grimmie family personally and offered to not only pay for the entire funeral but also pay for the flight of Christina's mother to attend the funeral. She was taken from us too soon.

Brian Teefey, Christina Grimmie's manager, set up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral costs for his client and to help her family move out of its home.

When it was Loibl's turn to meet the singer, Rivera said she saw "The Voice" alum greeting him with open arms and enthusiasm, as she did to other fans. The young singer may have been shot by a insane fan, Orlando Police Chief John Mina said at a press conference held in the morning of June 11, Saturday. Good friend Selena Gomez, broke down in tears over the weekend as she dedicated a song to Grimmie while performing in Miami.
