Yolanda Foster Quits: 'RHOBH' Leaves Show, Releases Statement On Instagram

The 52-year-old reality star announced she's leaving the Bravo series to focus on her family and battle with chronic Lyme disease in a lengthy Instagram post Wednesday.

She and Foster announced their split in December 2015.

While Yolanda provided no insight into why she was leaving, sources claim it had to do with a potential demotion.

A source tells TMZ that Yolanda considered Bravo's offer a snub. "I am leaving what's over without denying its past importance in my life", Hadid wrote.

"Thank you to all the fans for your love and unwavering support these past 4 years", she continued.

She believes that if she was married or with someone, "the women would come for me so hard".

She added: "Incidents where you would be so sick, not being able to move your bones/body, and I would have to drive you to the hospital at 3 a.m.so I could see you get a shot of something just like every other day you would have to do treatment".

Yolanda reportedly attempted to negotiate by offering Lyme-Free storylines - like finding love again - in exchange for returning as a Housewife, but obviously that didn't work out and it seems Yolanda opted to leave the show instead. The whole world saw her going in and out of hospitals for various procedures in the hopes of improving her condition, like the removal of her breast implants.

In January, Lisa Vanderpump admitted she regretted questioning whether Hadid's children had Lyme disease.

Her declining health is said to be one of the reasons her ex-husband, famous composer David Foster, filed for divorce in 2015, according to Us Weekly.

She also believes that in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", the ones who get the respect are the "people who are married on that show".
