RUMOURS: Man Utd agree personal terms with Nani

They say United have held talks with Nani after being instructed to do so by Jose Mourinho, who is keen on bringing him back to Old Trafford.

If Nani does return to United for another season it would mark one of the most surprising and weird moves of the transfer window.

The Portugal worldwide was sold to Fenerbahce last summer after being deemed surplus to requirements by former United manager Louis van Gaal. Nani scored 40 goals in 229 appearances for United since he joined from Sporting Lisbon.

The Dutchman was allowed to leave the club in May and was replaced by Mourinho. The 29-year-old has offers from China, but it is believed that United have now joined the race for the winger's signature.

Nani has a £6.3m release clause in his contract but the Red Devils are not prepared to pay that much for their former player. Interested clubs could match his asking price and United are set to trigger his buyout clause in order to bring him back to Old Trafford.

He picked up four Premier League winners medals and one Champions League medal, however he was often criticised by supporters for failing to show consistency.

That is according to one of Turkey's largest media outlets DHA, who claim United have already agreed personal terms with the Portugal global.
